    IIRC some but not all 406 models use the same shoes as 607's, which could explain that. Most on-line parts suppliers show TRW GS8683 for the 607, and that is indeed the part I have fitted, looking back at the invoice.

    Ive gone for the 607 rear shoes,went on euro carparts website got a price on the pagid ones,then went on ebay and got them of their ebay page and saved over a tenner.

    Different brake shoes, different rear discs, different back plates, different mechanism and different hand brake cable bu apart from that they are similar.

    As above, V8 rear hand brakes shoes, discs, shoes adjustment mechanism are all larger than the normal ZT/75
    1958 Ford Consul Convertible
