Default Roush Supercharged MG ZT 260 Mk 1 SE

I know I'm going to regret this but the time has come to let #138 go and after over 13 years of ownership, this is a very reluctant sale.

It is in great condition for its age and mileage but having only done about 2000 miles in the last 12 months, I'm just not using it enough to justify keeping it. I also need to free up some space.

This car has had a few upgrades making it somewhat unique. The main upgrades are: -
    • Complete engine swap in 2011 at 85k for an unused MGR factory Roush Stage 3 engine with supercharger as fitted to the MG SV-S.
    • The whole rear stuff up was replaced in 2015 with an unused old stock one, completely rebuilt including blasted and repainted (POR15) frame, diff, drive shafts, springs, dampers and brakes.
    • The whole front stuff up was replaced in 2016 with an unused old stock one, completely rebuilt including blasted and repainted (POR15) frame, steering rack, springs, dampers and brakes. The gearbox and clutch were also replaced at the same time.
    • Complete colour change in 2016 from the original Starlight Silver to MG Orange Grove Supertallic. This was a doors off, engine out respray to keep the sight of the original colour to a minimum.
    • New uprated fuel pump and mini remap in 2017.

    Other smaller upgrades
    • K&N air filter
    • Black Olive heater valve upgrade.
    • Replacement audio head unit with sat nav, SD card reader and single slot CD. This still uses the original amplifier and speakers.
    • The original wheels were replaced.

The car does have a few niggles, which most of these cars do. They are not massive problems and don?t affect the enjoyment at all.
    • Occasionally the heating will do its own thing and not respond to controls.
    • A flat spot when changing gear but only if you are driving hard and full throttle.
    • A minor oil leak from the diff.
    • The wheels would benefit a refurb.

The car is always garaged and stays in there in very bad weather. It has been regularly serviced, with all receipts and stamps and is due an oil change service now. I also have a file full of receipts and past MOT?s etc. Current MOT expires 19th October 2021. I also have a small stash of spares, which will be included if sold at the asking price.

The car will be listed on AutoTrader in a couple of weeks.
