For the next 10 days, there is an online auction of the assets including vehicles, of Van der Post, the famous MG/Rover specialist in Holland (well, famous in Holland anyway!).
Amongst the cars is an MG ZT 260 VIN #710, BRG, 51k km., offered until a few week ago at Euro 29,500 but now standing at a high bid of Euro 5,750 on the auction books. The auction ends on February 8th. Costs of VAT at 21%, buyer's fees at 17% and other taxes represent an almost 50% buyer's surcharge over the 'hammer-price'!
