Mazda MX5 - diff take off...... pain in the ass!

But he has had major problems with getting the diff out and any suggestions on this would be greatly appreciated.

there are 2 retaining bolts which go through the seam of he diff which hold a ?ladder section? to the gearbox. 1 bolt will not budge and the other just spins but won?t come out.

Again any help/suggestions would be greatly received
