Very common approach. Doesn't work of course. obviously the same seller who will probably repeat the price "reduction" farce, at least to the level published previously! This market is small and anyone genuinly looking to buy will have seen all the "catch me" ploy.
Once (re-)listed, another ploy is to adjust the priice, up or down margilnally, say 100 quid, in the hope that someone registered with the sales-site as "looking for a ZT 260" will get an automatic intrusive email prompt to take a look again at the car! Tends to generate sales resistance at being "nagged" in an unfreindly fashion, rather than an attraction to the offer.
