As much as I agree with you insurance companies do try it on when it comes to claims, I know of a classic car that had an accident and when the insurance assessor came to ''inspect '' the car he found that the colour was wrong, the car had been resprayed in another colour and they had not been told. Luckily the owner had taken his insurance out through a broker and they argued the point for the owner and the insurance company did pay out.Originally Posted by T16
How can changing the colour of your car infect the insurance? They will do anything looking for a way out including the checking the depth of tread on the tyres even if a radio has been stolen.
