Regarding Elite - they bought my SV from me, when I bought a 335D.

Not had an MGR since - many other marques - GTR R35, C63, Golf R.........dam stupid diesel X5 with 381bhp is awesome.

Just kind of fancied yet again this R75 V8. Although, the longer I think, I think of a Morgan or Caterham.

Still for sale. It has to be worth a punt. BTW - this is a general post - not meant for anyone to think I am interested.

My next car is the NOMAD (ordered, but delayed as I'm out of work at the moment). Our X5 is sold, 435D is nearly 2 years old but with only 2000 miles on it. Plus the 260 boat anchor. The X5 replacement is an X3 M40i - I THINK.

I know Andy Greenhalgh (AndyG) and one or two others have had a crack at talking them down. If I'm to believe what has been posted here, 25K was the last offer I heard that someone tried and was 'told where to go'.

What's a fair price? No way of saying; it's unique with almost no miles. Only thing is if you use it and enjoy it won't stay like that, as neither will the price it could command in the future, in fact pretty quickly. So it all depends if you are into 'stamp-collecting', or owning a car for driving, I suppose!

If it was bought for 25k and driven sparingly, it could maintain its value in the low 20's.

BTW: What's wrong with stamp collecting?
