Default 260 UK Sales per month.

This summary shows the number of ZT 260s and Rover 75V8s known to have been sold per month since 31 December 2017.
Only UK sales are taken into account and the data is taken from the Annual 'Complete List of 260s SOLD' and the 'Monthly Ins-and-Outs' threads, updated daily over the period. I hope you find it interesting.

Interesting stuff. No surprise numbers are starting to drop.

Yes, particularly August/September. The month of July is a little slacker, fairly consistently.

May and June, is generally OK-ish, as surprisingly is February in 80% of the years covered.
Currently in January, rather in the "doldrums" of course!

5 years is a rather small sample to reliably show trends, further affected by little things like COVID, war, recession, inflation and global warming ... and Liz Truss of course. I think that the patterns are sufficiently regular to give some indication of the best time to go to market though.

June-September are during the show season and as would normally be very hot and sunny. Maybe that affects the buying public? Politics I wouldn't have thought affects much. These are now a collectable car, prices are about right for them and buyers have more disposable income to look for one

Agree, except that you can never ignore it, when the economic environment, and disposable income are both pretty much dependent on it.
Rather unpredictable as a result though.

Another new year, and time to update the graph. Now shows UK sales combined (Rover 75 V8 and MG ZT 260), 2020 to current date (01/2024).

The original Excel sheet on which the image is based, and therefore perhaps more easily read, is in the Files section of the Two-Sixties Facebook group pages under the filename 260_UK_Sales.xlsx for Download by Group members.
