    Default MG ZT 260 info about NLA parts

    Hello guys I've been a member on here for a few years but haven't really been on..( more to do with the fact no one would insure me on a 260)

    But it seems now I can be get insureance for a 260, I've been in the mg family for a while, currently own a 75 contemp se cdti, a mg zr t16 and a mg zs td( that belong to the late father and ongoing resto)

    i am am just wondering guys what are the main faults with the 260 and which parts are no longer available...?
    What about those rear arms .?

    Parts are getting very difficult to source. You have provided a good example yourself. Try a search on "NLA" or such in the search box.

    havent really found that much info, although when i do google i cant find any rear arms for sale, cant even find them listed at all on rimmers.

    Did you ever see "Scooter's List" published in MG Enthusiast in January 2014? It has all the suggested improvements, fixes and life-saving modifications recommended for the Two Sixty. There is a copy on the Bookshelf.

    no i havent i will get a read of it now, thanks also really do like your 260 something about the tourers that draw me to them

    Thanks, Nich. Scooter and I worked the list up when I wrote that article and he kindly let me call it Scooter's List. It has a nice ring to it! Perhaps it needs to be a stand-alone document for new members to find more easily. Or part of a new member's kit that Tim sends out with the questionnaire. And I expect there are some new items we should be adding these days.
