114,000 miles is not a lot, I put 140,000 onto my first (and it's still going strong) and felt like it was only run in c 95,000.

Agree on the mileage, American V8's will do huge mileages. I have a friend in the US and he is amazed at the mileage some cars do with no more than a biannual oil change.
As long as all the weak points of a ZT have been sorted I would say it is good value for money.

Yes exactly one of his workmates has a Crown Victoria with close on 400k miles and all he does is have the oil changed every 2 years and brakes as and when required. When he asked when were the spark plugs last replaced he shrugged his shoulders and said not in the last 100k .
Yes there driving conditions are different but it does make you wonder if we over maintain our cars?
Last year I hired a Dodge Charger in Canada that was just over a year old and that had 60k miles on it but drove like it was brand new.

Detroit iron is generally pretty unburstable. Wife drove our Olds with no water at all for 20 miles. Just repaired the plastic water union that had crumbled (familiar?), filled it with coolant and it did another 50k miles. Paint had started to blister on the bonnet!
