    Default Wanted ZT 260 SE

Hi, I'm looking for a good condition SE or non SE with full leather seats. I like x-power grey although other colours considered but not a monogram model. Also the lower vehicle tax bracket would be preferred. I'm looking to pay around £9000 for the right one. I'm located in the Cambridge area and would be prepared to travel a few hours distance. Understandably there seem very few for sale, so if anyone is considering selling, please get in touch. Thanks Simon

Hi, I had a posting here this morning from someone offering a car, but it's now disappeared? Has it been removed by the admin or did the the person change their mind? Thanks Simon

Hi Simon, the post you are referring to did not state an asking price and therefore was in breach of forum guidelines, it has been moved to a secure area. The poster has been notified and if he/she provides an asking price the post will be reinstated. Having been a member on here for nearly 10 years I am surprised you weren't aware of the selling guidelines.
    Good luck with your search.

Not being pedantic, Nich, but does that mean if someone posts "Wanted: a Gubbins", and someone replied to the post "Ï got a Gubbins if you want one", then unless he/she stated a required price in the reply you would summarily just scrub the reply-post ?????

That's utterly, totally crazy; can't see how that could be in anyone's interest?
... but pretty well exactly what happened in this case, as I see it.

It's simple and stops the potential of a dutch auction David. No price guide, no post.

Nich moves the original post into the moderators area. Once the price is known the post reappears. If Simon and Jezza continue privately via email etc then I have no problem with that as the forum is not contributing to the potential of an auction. As I mentioned on another thread, a few years ago a situation arose were the price of something being sold escalated and was not to the benefit of members as such.

People don't read the small amount of rules we have for this site and that's why this occurs so I'd not be going negative on a mod who has to make a judgement. Black and white, no ambiguity.

No such implication was intended; sorry that you inferred from my post that you should do so.

Sorry I had no intention of causing a debate on forum rules! If JEZZA could PM or email me that would be appreciated. Thanks Simon
