My late (Jan 2005) R75V8 looks much the same with only a "mini-cover" over the positive pole. Guess that came as part of the Bosch battery anyway, not the car. Don't believe any ZT 260's/R75V8's have a large cover that like fitted on to the battery-box in a V6?

Don't believe it either, the FWD cars have one because they have a battery box, at least the earlier cars do (I believe the battery cover was removed on the FWD cars at some point), but the 260s never had one, there's no battery box so a cover wouldn't fit...Originally Posted by David

wouldn't be the first time that Rimmers forgot the 260 is different from the FWD cars
