    Default Battery cover

I have a battery cover/lid for my 260, however it does not seem to fit correctly, does anyone know how to fit it, or is it a case that it does not fit after market batteries? Any photos of the original fitment would be a bonus.

    Thanks

Never seen a battery cover, just the strap.

My late (Jan 2005) R75V8 looks much the same with only a "mini-cover" over the positive pole. Guess that came as part of the Bosch battery anyway, not the car. Don't believe any ZT 260's/R75V8's have a large cover that like fitted on to the battery-box in a V6?

Don't believe it either, the FWD cars have one because they have a battery box, at least the earlier cars do (I believe the battery cover was removed on the FWD cars at some point), but the 260s never had one, there's no battery box so a cover wouldn't fit...

Thanks for responses, must be an aftermarket, although it looks very similar to the cover that Rimmers have on their site. I have attached a picture. Here is link to website page http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-GRID004248

wouldn't be the first time that Rimmers forgot the 260 is different from the FWD cars
