    Default OBD Readers 260/ZS/Speed Triple

I am getting an OBD Reader to be used on our 260, ZS, & Speed Triple (so far).

    I am interested in:
Clarke CEOBDS EOBD/OBD II Engine Fault Code Reader

Clarke Engine Diagnostic / EOBD Fault Code Reader

    Laser 5089 EOBD11/EOBD Code Reader/Reset Tool

Laser 5091 EOBDII/EOBD Code Reader & Reset Tool

I need it for cars and Motorcycle.
Planning ahead I am looking at the higher end of the market for all functions..

Has anyone had experience of the listed units?

Probably makes sense, Andy. I tried the TOAF thing without much luck. Maybe mine wasn't the latest version, since it didn't need a dongle only a rather specific cable which I bought. It couldn't 'see' the engine at all, and other information was somewhat minimal. Tried to check why the ABS light was on on one of my V6's but got nowhere with that either.

Maybe I want everything to be plug-and-play and all singing-dancing, but the absence of any instructions or a help-file, interactive or not, certainly didn't make life easier. I've de-installed it and will probably go your route Andy (if I can afford it!). Feedback on that and experience of other members would be much appreciated

If you have a Android phone I recommend you to have a look at Torque PRO. You can read about it on Google play.

    Thanks, I still use a Nokia 6310i

I do have an iPhone4 (Which I use mainly for messages) so I guess not compatible.

My son has a Samsung something, with a reader, but no reset stuff .

I like the idea of separate units for specific jobs, and Lazer/Clarke seem to be the easiest available.

Just sold my zs180 mark one for 416 pound you missed out :.... (

For general obd stuff I use 'easy obd' and a elm 322 cable does engine codes but no interior and bcu stuff. As for toad which is our dedicated r75 one I found it ok but I'm still learning but changing the easy lock and testing the cooling fan all easy enough I'm having trouble with putting a Virginising ipk into the zt190 a trouble got the vin and mileage transfered but has a few errors left which I will have to goto a t4 man for though

Oh the Google bluetooth side with pro torque I can never get a stable signal always a faff to use
