    Default Wanting another 260

    Hi all,

After previously having a 260 and parting with it, it didn't take long before I was missing the old v8 burble. Although I've got a xfr there's something that I can't quite put my finger on about the zt v8 but here I am.

Looking for a fairly low mileage 260 (under 50,000 miles) ideally it would be a mark 2 facelift with the se pack, y'all order but I'm sure they are out there somewhere. Im happy to travel to view and as mentioned would prefer an se but wouldn't be put off with a non-se.

    Regards,

    Sam

Thanks very much, been on and off here as keep forgetting my password. Hoping to get more involved this year and get back to owning a 260.

I'm currently in the early stages of potentially selling mine, the 3rd child has unfortunately brought on the realisation that I really do need something bigger.
It's a 2004 SE. The car has covered about 118,000 but I had a new engine fitted about 5000 miles ago, so depending on your requirements it may or may not be considered low mileage!
It's one of our everyday cars so is not concourse, but as it is used regularly runs sweet. In the long term could do with minor scratches removed, wheels refurbed etc.
Sometimes it has an ABS warning appear, but not very often.
Air con pump could do with being replaced as I think several years of sitting on the new engine not being used hasn't helped it.
All radiators are new, new brake pipes for last MOT.
Has the Navall Sat Nav system fitted.

I'm located in St Albans (M25, M1 area). I'll be looking in the region of £5000.

Hello Moose, If you're still looking I'm thinking of selling #182. Mk.1 non SE but it has the 'drivers intelligence pack'
It's BRG with green alcantara. Under 50000 miles with FSH. It does not get used enough and makes me feel guilty seeing it sitting on the drive!
And its fairly local to you.

    Richard.

Will members please remember to state a guideline price if they are thinking of offering anything for sale. I know it's not easy to decide but a 'ball-park' figure is required as per forum guidelines.

Sorry I didn't mean to break the rules. I'll suggest a price of £5000 I know that might be a long way off the mark but it's a starting point.
