Default Hi every one I've brought one of your 260 back from the dead

Hello my name is Peter I've been in the mg rover scene since rover started my dad ownes a body shop and we have been buy and repairing Mg's and rovers for as long as I can remember....

we we specialise in rover and Mg's for years traveling the length of Britain to find the lowest Milage rover and Mg's you could imagine we have had them all including all the funky colours but we never could get our hands on a v8 Zt we did try once but failed than this bad lad turned up a 2006 basic model with 22 thousand miles on it well a simple repair and hay presto we have a Zt 260 with great Milage at the moment I'm using it as a run around but get the feeling it needs to be supercharged but no one does it anymore....

ive been on mg four end for years helping people out so I'll be happy to help any of you guys aswell I'm down south in sunny Essex

I'm not sure if he's on here but I know the car you mean, it was recently "wide bodied" at Retro Lifestyle, the owner is from the Warwick area.I have seen via a friend via FB the front damage. It was actually a MK1 IIRC

what what what, when did this happen? Is there a thread about this or has this not been discussed on the forum? I have been keeping an ear out for the successes of the wide arch kit as it's still something I want to do, and I was able to provide some of the original parts to make this kit possible, but I have concerns about the handling afterwards. Was I correct to be concerned about that, or is this front-end damage unrelated to any handling difference I wonder.

yep that's the one I've been looking for either a supercharged one or another smashed one to have the supercharger fitted but this one I've spoken to the people who fitted the kit the car wasn't in great health when they had so I'm staying clear of it so it looks like I'll be selling my black v8 and waiting for one of you lovely blokes to sell his supercharged v8
