Hi and welcome. A guy not too far away from me had the car for a while, Millband on here. Do a forum search for threads started by him and you should be able to collect some history on the car.

Well well! Popped round for a bit of a lurk to see how things were in the 260 world and found #97 has a new home!

I ran #97 for 2 years covering from about 50k miles to about 80k. Hope the car is going well for you and you're enjoying it. I certainly miss it!

I guess you've found my blog on here? I also posted on Pistonheads if you want a bit more history: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/t...T+260+4%2E6+V8

One of my fondest memories is taking it to Le Mans. Hope this video doesn't upset you, the ZT 260 drivetrain is so over-engineered I don't think this really counts as abuse!

Hi Steve, it's great to find out what's been happening to the car over the years from its previous owners and seems to have been well looked after. Still looks like new inside and the outside is pretty clean too. It still has the mark on the rear bumper which I plan to get done in the future with possibly the front as well. The car run great and I love the noise from the v8 engine and even with the standard exhausts it sounds great. I've looked at buying one of these for quite some time but was always worried how much it would cost to run, but I was really surprised that to tax and insure it cost less than my diesel ZT. And as I only try (very hard) to use it at the weekend petrol cost isn't much. I watched the video and see some other pics, looks like you had a good time ☺. If I tried that I'd probably break something lol. Hopefully I will be able to keep No.97 for a few years.

Fantastic, I'm so pleased it's gone to a good home. Hope you have years of trouble-free motoring with it
