Default MG enthusiast seeking a V8.

I've been lurking in the background for a long time but the time has come to introduce myself properly.

Our current fleet consists of "his" two ZS's (a highly tuned TD and a track prepared V6) and "her" Rover 45 (an excellent condition TD).

Over the years I've owned a few lesser powered ZS's and even a 75 V6 at one point. All have been cherished however the current ones have been with us for several years now as up until this point they have been the right balance.

This is where I need your help

We are about to move to a new place with more room on the drive and a garage so I can now seriously think about a 260. Hence this post.

Ideally I'm after a ZTT, better still a MK1. That said, I will consider any model shape.

I have had a look through the classifieds section and constantly check the usual sites such as pistonheads, ebay, car and classic etc but I'm yet to see one that jumps out at me at the right price. I do have a budget in mind however I would rather keep that to myself for now until I see what comes up, also it is very much flexible depending on what is being offered.

I would really like one that has been owned by a fellow long-term enthusiast with a real passion for these cars rather than one that has been passed from pillar to post. If you are flirting with the idea of selling but want assurance it will be going to a good home then get in touch

    Thanks for reading.

I'll finish with a couple of pics

    The TD in Italy

The track 180 on a sunny day at Blyton

That what I like to see Phil, an enthusiast looking for a ZT v8 . We are about to sell Herman's car which is not an estate but is a black mk1 04 if that rocks your boat.

Cheers Tim, I saw a mention of Herman's car in another thread. Are there any more details at this point?
A tourer would be ideal but its not a deal breaker if every other box is checked

That offer sounds good! There are still good deals on these cars. No winter mode makes the decision easy

    Merry Christmas all!

Just a quick update, I didn't manage to find a V8 so ended up buying a 330d estate in the end. Unfortunately for me, the MG bug has bitten again and so I'm going to have another go at finding a ZT-T 260 or even a really nice V6 or CDTI.
If you have anything or if you are interested in my BMW, please have a look here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-330d-3...oAAOSwo3pWfSSA

    Many thanks, Phil.
