    I am having to put a full set of 5 on so which do people favour?

    I used to stick to Avon zz3 but last change I moved over to Dunlop sp01 and they are much better feel and grip.

    I get 4. and have a spare of any make.
    Then if needed a replacement for the car (tire damage beyond repair) I get a new pair.
    then use the other original tire as the spare. so in the future if I lose another tire I have a second hand set hopefully with an equal tread on both.
