Default Electric boot release but battery flat

Sorry to ask about a problem so early on in my forum membership guys.

Just got my V8 ZT last week and went to start it today but the battery is flat. As it has electric boot release, I assume there is an alternative method of opening the boot when the battery is flat?

    TIA

Either open the bonnet and connect a battery up to the terminals or lower the seat back and pull the internal boot release.

I cant get in to the boot due to my size so, if I connect my battery charger to the red wire going to the fuse box and the car chassis / engine block, would that be suitable, do you think ?

There should be a pull-rope in the boot on the O/S. Access via the rear back rest when dropped down.
Or you can supply 12V to the main fuse box in the engine bay to get enough power to open.

If you get your completed questionnaire back to Tim and get full access to the site Ian then you will find answers to most of the problems you may encounter.
