Engine & Manual questions

Hi all,

looking at buying a ZT V8 in the next 6 months or so.. and just getting my head round stuff..

I already have 2x 75's Diesel & V6.. and a V8 P6, so a ZT V8 would be a welcome addition..

I am in Saudi working at the mo.. hence the treat when I get back.. lol..

Regarding the Ford V8.. I am seeing alot of late 90's to 2010's Ford Crown Victoria's driving round.. Infact its probably the most common car on the road over here.. Am I right to assume it has the same 4.6L V8 thats in the ZT/75 & Mustang?

There's abandoned Crown Victoria round the corner from my compound.. had the bonnet up and there's a lovely V8 under there!

also - regarding Workshop Manuals, and the V8 - I assume that we use the Ford Workshop Manual on DVD for that? or is there another decent manual around?

Its does Kev, ours is the 2004 block with the air intake on the other side.

Yep Ford engine manuals plus once an owner you'll have access to the manuals we hold in our library on the gearbox, service, etc.

Try and sneak some of these abandoned cars back in your lunch box.

Lol.. If I could Tim, I would.. there's a few 75's here.. think they are the V6's???.. and loads of MG 750e's.. Havent been up close to any yet though.. as they are always on the road when I am.. lol..

I will get some pics when I can.. and there's a 75 up for sale locally.. doesnt state what engine.. but its a Connie minimum looking at exterior.. may find out exactly where that is and see what it is - when I get time..
