Mine is up to temp after less than 2 miles at 30 mph (in town)

I doubt if it is anywhere near operating temp. More like 20 miles I should think.

Think Andy is referring to the temp. gauge which shows mid-scale after about 2 mls in town.
Oil take a while longer but I'd expect much less than 20 mls.

They do warm up quickly but could do with an oil temp gauge

I have the sensor fitted to the sump, just not fitted the gauge yet (Undecided where to fit it on the dash)

I would have thought that the oil warms up just as quick. (Just a guess)
