    Hi Eddie
a strange question from a new guy on a MG Forum but that's ok I guess.

Turbo diesel Audis tend to chew up there turbos, not as well known as some other car failures, my brother in laws turbo let go over Christmas and took the engine with it. This is not so well known here in the uk but quite well known in Germany so I am told. My personal opinion is that there are much nicer cars out there to drive, I've had several A3 and also A4 for work, none of them have been that great to drive. The turbo petrol 1.8's also suffered with head gasket problems. My bosses failed at 6 months old and not that high a mileage. We have no Audi company cars any more! And I work for a very large well known engineering company.

Theres better ways to spend that money. A MG 260 if you don't already have one!

    Cheers

    Eddie..the rights and wrongs apart...!!!!!!

    15k is ..w a y t o o m u c h anyway !!!!

The one your asking about is from £11,000 or less !!!!
For that sort of money, 15k , you'd be looking at a 2011/ 12 with..a fair bit less mileage !!
    ( god I sound like Mr Mcdoodles !!!!! )
Just look on Autotrader, gumtree, desperate seller etc. I always find Pistonheads slightly more expensive.

My brothers got an A4 diesel Audi. 165,00 on it..he does 25,000 a year in it ! Still going fine..the Audi Specialist he goes to said they have two customers with nearly 500,000 miles on them !!! He had another Audi before..but it rusted a bit.
My father had an original Quattro...good god , did it go...!!

How much you would be willing to pay for for an Audi A3 1,9 diesel? 35,000 miles and from 2010?

I just found a quality one online

In fairness i did look at the Audi S3 (amongst other quick road cars) before i bought the zt. provided of course the poster isnt some form of bot.

the bad news is that this one is already sold. (i emailed the link to see if someone called eddie was trying to generate interest in the car he had for sale if you see what i mean)

from my limited driving of the S3 they went well when pushed, but the rest of the time (normal driving in traffic) they were very little different to a bog standard euro box.

whereas the ZT puts a smile on my face even when im doing less than 30mph. in fact sometime even when stationary. :-)

They say "A great car" is one that you are comfortable sitting in it in a traffic jam.

I'll be there and it'll be a pint of Southern Comfort please!

I was hoping that it would have taken place by now, unfortunately, events within the family (I won't bore you with the details) have prevented this!

So unfortunately, unless something changes, it won't be for another couple of years, when I get a lump sum of pension money!
