Default OIL PICK UP PIPE for ZT260

    VERY URGENT

On stripping down the old sump I found that the oil pickup pipe (oil suction pipe from pump) differs considerably to that fitted to the new engine (came with Ford steel sump). Searches at SMC, Rimmers and B&G's have come up with nothing available. Can anyone help as the old unit in my damaged engine is dented. It's not holed but I'm not comfortable about fitting it to a brand new engine.

Give Brian at Dreadnought, and Nick at Austin's a call - the number of cars that have gone through the two locations they may have one to hand

The one I got with my short block was a mustang one, so we cut and shut it..

    Default Thanks yet again

Hi and a big thanks to those that replied so quickly - yet again someone came to my rescue with pipe now sourced and my dented one, which will work OK, taken as a reserve.

    Thanks again

    Frank.
