    What's the minimum thickness for discs then??

    The lip was only a couple of mm, if that. Seems a bit of a waste to scrap them.

    The back of the discs hardly had any lip too, so I can't imagine the standard thickness of a disc is any more then 25mm...

    There is no quoted limit for the rear discs but:-
    Rear discs are 26 mm when new. If you allow roughly 10% wear, the minimum is roughly 23.5 mm

    (for example, front disc is 24.9 mm, wear limit 22.8 mm (roughly 8%))

    My car has been sorned for longer than I can remember due to my rear disks being shot....if those disks would last twelve months I'd be happy and would have them...
