Good day to you all,

I am new to this forum and joined the other day because I am considering purchasing a 260.
I currently drive a (slightly worse for wear) ZT 135 diesel.

I would be looking at an LPG conversion because I will be driving the car and not leaving it tucked up in the garage and need to get fuel cost down.

As I drive a ZT, I am aware of certain common niggles.

Are there any other typical niggles that are specific to a 260??

I understand that the actual engine is pretty much bullet proof.

One of the reasons for being keen on these cars is that they look gorgeous.
I prefer a them in pearl black - looks like something Batman's big brother would drive.

So my other question would be this:

Does anyone know if it is possible to do the LPG conversion without having the unattractive second filler cap spoiling the beautiful lines of the car??

Any examples of alternatives to this??

Ta in advance for any advice...

Nick....
