    Default 260 Specs

    Hi

I've been registered on the site since April 2011 but not active as I don't own a ZT, yet. I am active on many of the MG forums and even moderate on a couple.

I've had Austins, Rovers, 1 Range Rover and MGs almost every since I learned to drive in the early 80's, currently we have 4 MGs (ZS180,ZR160, MGF VVC and T16 maestro) and 2 of the kids have Rover 100s so you can see I'm a bit of a fan of the brand.

I often considerd a 260 but Mrs TC doesn't like them, says they look like a grandads car (whatever that is) but until recently it's been "which car will you get rid of", however since my daughter annouced her pregnancy it's been "if you can afford it". We have a multicar insurance policy and an extra car only cost £27 admin fee and I'd be putting fuel in a car anyway so the only costs are servicing, MOT and tax.

So to the point of the post - where can I find the different specs of the 260?

    James

Yeah, two specs, SE and non-SE. Though the very knowledgeable Nick, from Austin Garages, has suggested that he has never seen a non-SE car that doesn't have at least one 'option' fitted! So check out what each car you consider actually has on it!

Cheers for the replies - saloon or estate - difficult one - as this will be an aditional car an estate would make sense as we already have the saloon ZS, several hatches and a convertable.
