Default #314 for sale *** NOW SOLD ***

*** NOW SOLD *** I am gutted at having to sell but the time has come where it is getting harder and harder to justify to myself running two cars. I can't use the 260 as an everyday car and in the last 2 years it has been on a 3000 mile limited policy and last year I didn't even manage to get much past 2500 miles. Plus the usual - pay cut, growing family, etc. I am hardly using the car and feel that now is, sadly, the time to move on.

#314 is a 2004 54 plate car and has had 5 owners. She has a fully stamped service history, in my ownership this being through Austin garages. Diff oil was replaced last year. Clutch master cyclinder replaced. Aircon compressor was rebuilt when I bought the car in October 2009. Alternator replaced last year.

Starlight Silver with the optional Axis half leather trim.

    Aircon blows really cold.

Modified standard back boxes, which do sound rather good.

11 Spoke wheels which were powder coated in a gunmetal grey earlier this year. The Toyo Proxes tyres have seen their best days and whilst there is plenty tread to pass an MOT, they are past their best.

Blaupunkt CD/MP3/Satnav head unit - great quality but the satnav is rather "old tech" and I never used it but I do have a map disc.

Mileage is just short of 58k miles. I bought in October 2009 with 46k miles, so usage has been quite low.

Tax runs out at end of September, at which point it would have been SORN'd for the winter. I am not offering any tax beyond the end of September with the car. MOT was done in April but I will put 12 months MOT on the car. A service is due imminently and I will ensure this is done at Austins Garages to maintain the service history.

Asking £5500, open to some sensible negotiation on price. Located in the East Midlands.
