Default 2004 MG ZT 260 SE for sale on pistonheads

    http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/4080648.htm

mine, now with pics, need to do some interior shots

went to view the autotrader one today. on the plus side it was gunmetal grey, low mileage, and had a full duplex longlife exhaust.

on the not so good side, it has had paint on all doors and nearside rear quarter, complete with dust inclusions, fish eyes and sanding marks ( apparently it had had a kicking ), clutch cylinders need doing, vis butterflies were clattering like two skeletons shagging in a skip, and it was down on power as a result, and it needs rear discs and pads, and a battery. so it can stay there.

It's a bloody minefield hunting for the right car.

Sure you'll come up trumps in the end...

Nothing like seeing a prospective purchase in the flesh before plonking down your money
I made a 320 mile round trip to look at some Meccano yesterday, from S. Wales to Rugby.
Didn't like what I saw and kept my money well trousered. Mind you a beautiful morning for driving, left at 4.00 and drove into a stunning sunrise. The auction was interesting, loads of ancient anoraks (such as myself) drooling over ancient Meccano and Hornby et al. Ended up buying a lovely Set 10 Meccano which I didn't really want, but it was too good to miss and was compensation for the set I really wanted which was not all it was cracked to be. This latter set was sold on a commissioned/advance bid by someone who had probably not seen it. Similar figure to that asked for your ZS.imagine, how you'd have felt if you'd bought ZS for the asking price unseen, and only discovered the defects after parting with your cash

I'm not familiar with the term "fisheyes" that you used. Presumably a kind of paint defect. Would you be kind enough to explain

fish eyes are dots down to the primer surrounded by raised dimples, caused by wax/silicones etc.

The one up for sale is the V8. The comment regarding the VIS was with regards to a ZS180 that was viewed in autotrader, see post #1

    Discussed here https://www.two-sixties.co.uk/mgoc26...one-good-price

not for sale any more, after adding a classic mini 1000 to the blackolive fleet, it has been decreed that the zafira goes instead
