Well, here's my five cents. I have bought my car (#631) at the end of November of last year. That's how long these German cars have been offered at very high prices obviously with no takers. We don't know anything of either car, so to determine why the silver one is more expensive than the blue one (other than the royal blue kind of colour combination is more British to the Germans than the teutonic Audi-like silver combo). The silver one might have been a write-off, a CAT C or D, or had more owners than the blue one.

Fahrzeug Service Erkens is a delivery and prep company, dealing primarily with fleet cars and to my information has handled Rover Germany press test cars up to the untimely death of the company. So they "know their stuff" is what they would purport, however, I believe that their prices seem fetched out of thin air. But you guys are right, Germans who pay that kind of money to do 155 mph on an Autobahn do not want to sit on the "wrong" side of the car. When it comes to selling mine, I will offer mine in Germany, too, though :-).
