    Met a great guy outside the Doctor's surgery, as you do ! Rover 75 V6 Estate 2002. 39,000 !! Asked..what do you clean it with etc.. polish from Poundland..was the reply !! AND.. the thing looked bloody superb !!! Chrome.. looked NEW mirrors, side strips, bumper chrome etc !! Even the windows..looked like they'd just been fitted. Paint.. marvellous.. made me think..why bother with all the "fancy" mega bucks polishes !! zt pony

    I'm sure someone can tell you but I honestly don't know... especially when you hear stories like that! was he the one carefull owner from new? and quite low miles well 3900 a year...

    I would imagine the effort put in has a greater bearing on the quality of finish rather than the cost of the product used.

    I imagine that hours spent working a rubbish product will give a rubbish result
    Not enough time with a good product will give the same result.

    A balance of both will probably do, so the pound shop one can't be too bad

    If you don't know the guy I would take it with a pinch of salt;maybe he was pulling your leg,maybe he's only had it a few months and the condition's down to the previous owner.Maybe it's true who knows?
