Alloys might not be wide enough then for the tyres I am looking at... though have been considering 245 instead of 255 and there are a couple of people before me.

Bumper I am definitely interested in for a long term project... just trying to find out if anyone knows someone who can merge/bond part of a mk1 bumper to it for the head lamp surround to make it fit mine.

Just seen on gentlemans site one that looks a bit different as it has no holes for fog lamps.... so a tad confused... easily done! lol

I think you will have to go to 8J rims for 245 tyres when it comes to the legality of it.
Some people have fitted 245 on standard rims but you'll find tyre manufactures specify 8J-9.5J for 245/40/18
If things go wrong and the insurer picks up on it..........who knows.........

Guess I'll have to wait to see what Mark and Dominic decide....mmhhhhh ??

I've been 'advised' that I can't have any more wheels ni the garage as I already have two sets of Alfa wheels in there, as well as four bikes and two large cupboards of other car and bike related gubbins. Reluctantly, I have to agree...

So Herman, although it pains me to say it, they're all yours son

I got four Alfa wheels as well, and a motorbike, but thankfully a very understanding wife.
So pending Dominic's response I may have to travel to Birmingham next weekend

I will have them if they are available, will pimp the 75 V8 a bit..... let them snigger at it being an old man's car at there peril....

But of course will not be offended if Herman gets them. I am there Sunday if that helps.

Paul also can you bring the mirrors. Will try and rescue them for a project
