This car's been around for a month or so and was just reduced by £2K to the present price in the last few days. Was almost interested in looking - I'm not far away, in Epsom, but might hold out for Bittersweet or Dark Fantasy in which case I guess I'll be driving my 800 for a long time yet.

Went and had a quick shufty today - it's number 623 and is in nice condition. Mind you, it's not the best day to look at a can and I didn't want to get too close as I was covered from head to toe in mud.

It seems to have all toys, what look like replacement quads, front light covers, wind deflectors and... a full set of mudflaps (almost worth getting just for them). Wheels looked in good nick and that interior looked, err, very bright, in a nice kind of way.

If it's still there in the new year I might pop along and see how close I could get to a swap...

Clean yourself up and dump the pushchair and Lidi bags first.

Looks very like the car I saw in north Oxford a couple of years ago, then registered PXY 7 on MG Rover Group plates, which might suggest an interesting ownership history.

I bid on this car and missed it by half an hour! Came in part exchange at a Jaguar dealer in Cumbria. Shame-looks really nice.

Don't remember exactly what it made-think it was somewhere around £5K? Not sure who bought it, whether it was Carlians or was then sold onto them later. Guess that after their costs-warranty, valet, VAT etc, they might take £7000 for it? Worth a try?

I fear for your sanity if you are going down the swap line, dealers hate doing that sort of thing and will offer something daft to change to basically tell you to go away.

You would be better off agreeing to buy and then sell yours, well technically you should sell yours first and then go that one armed with dosh, depends how bad you want it!
