Welcome along Rick, if you get your questionnaire back to Tim and get full access to the site there's lots of info to read up on. If you add your location to your profile it often helps to know whereabouts you are.
Nich.
That looks like a MG Montego Turbo in Moonraker blue metallic tucked away in your garage ? I miss my MG Montego EFi in the same colour that I sold in 1998 when I bought my MGF Abingdon. It was my Dad's car from new and when I sold it, it had done over 132,000 and apart from normal servicing and an alternator and new clutch it was faultless and for its time quite rapid with the torque of the O series. The tin worm was nibbling at the rear wheel arches though
Yeh that's my baby lol it's a 1985 mg montego turbo in zircon blue
Here it is -

Thanks for posting the photo, I can see now it is Zircon blue as opposed to the much darker Moonraker Blue, both nice 80s colours. Both the Turbo and EFi are rare cars these days
Welcome Rick
Hope to see you somewhere soon.
How many miles she #105 on? What bits are you going to be doing?
Sorry for gushing!
Rick is that a black 260 next to her?
Nah that's my very nice and low miles cdti , which I now have to sell
Its on 91k miles , it needs , highline sorting as the screen is blank , front strut bearing drivers side , set of mirror covers , the engine light is on , but has now gone off , and a few other bits
I have swapped out 372s hiline for a navall3 android. gets am fm dab single cd, ipod, dash and reverse cam and Bluetooth phone, DTV. and much bigger screen.
The red battery charge lights flashes on occasionally on all 260s. I put chrome covers on the mirrors.
U going to Stoneleigh parts show on the 21st ?
I love the original look of the highline so I'll be keeping it and fixing it My cdti has highline so I'll try swapping the units about see if I can it to work .
yup I'll be there , I'll bring the 260 , it'll be my daily driver by then .
Are you going ?
Yup if website works and gives me a ticket.
Lovely Montego.
I used to do some work for a lady that was bought, a new Montego EFI as a retirement present from her Boss. It was garaged and used very rarely, I always asked for first refusal if she ever sold it.
I arrived one day and it wasn't there, she had part exchanged it and was given peanuts as it was an old car. It was MINT!!! I would have given her so much more.

It took me the best part of 15 years to find a early standard montego turbo , this one had been off the road since 2002 , but was kept in a heated garage so is in vgc , has three service books full of rover service history , and has only done 71k . I don't think there's another zircon blue turbo anywhere , unless there's one hiding somewhere .
Persistence indeed!
I had a white montego turbo in 1989 when it was two years old reg no D342 POF which still exists according to dvla although sorned it would be interesting to contact the now owner to have a chat!
Cool , they are lovely in white .
WE should re-name this thread (Except the OP) to MG Montego appreciation society (One of my favourite cars too :))
I had a great birthday 1990 hiring Silverstone for the day. 20 mates messing in cars and instruction in race prepped montego 2l turbots at Dave Watson School .They flew and apparently you only need 3 foot to brake from 80 to take on the r and left out of the old start finish. Brrrrp!
