I need a 10-spoke wheel for my MOT. Would be happy to buy 2 if the price was right. Has anyone got any for sale, or any bright ideas?
Thanks
Rupert

Apexs is what you want
Why do you need one for your MOT? do you have a cracked one or something?
9111tiles was selling a set of black wheels in the for sale section.
If its just to pass an MOT any old 18" will do... as long as its either a vortex, apex, straight or the other straight type one. maybe you can borrow some ones 'spare' to get it through the test?
The inner rim is bent in several places - just knock it out, I suggestred, but 'Bath MOT Centre' insist on a new one. c**ksuckers!
Stang, do you have a Mustang?

Only the growly bit of one, under the bonnet of my 260! Got the idea from the plate: MG 54ANG...
I thought that you might be a fellow Mustang owner.

we are all mustang owners in a way
Rupert,
I have a pair of really good 10 spoke refurbished by Wizard Wheels. I need £200 each. Give me a call on 07747 623172 if you are interested,
Kind regards,
Mike Crisp.
£200 each?????? good luck with that one
Each pair maybe...?
£200 each i would expect a tyre as well, we are not being rude or anything but when you look around only a brand new one is worth that much, no one is going to pay that for a wheel each unless they were desperate for one.
Sorry guys,
Try £200 for the pair!
Mike Crisp.
yeah fair price given they have been refurbished
Just had Saffrons done in charcoal at pxwheels in Blackpool powder coated for £44 each, got a couple of contis at £120 each inc vat £100 each is fair the guy at PX says they are rare as rockin horse pooh.
Thanks, Mike. Despite the taunts, I appreciate both your offers: a new wheel is £274 (for one! Readily available, though). In the end I got a second-hand wheel (curbed, but not out of place with the others ;) ) from a Rover breaker (Breakerlink.com) for £184 including almost-new Continental, VAT and delivery. As one of my tyres was also condemned because of a gouge out of the wall (;);)), and as Bath MOT Centre only charged me £20 for a retest and no labour; I guess I should be stoked... bloody potholes though!
