Not far from me either.
I wonder where John and the boys had those hidden up at Wickwar?
I have Zeros which I swapped with Geoff for a brand new set of X-Powers that I hadn't even unwrapped!
Love the Zeros, probably better for the mileage that I do, but I do sometimes wish I kept the X-Powers.
I will be bidding on these puppies :) I didnt need new tyres anyway lol
Sound off if you are the single bidder as at 2246 hrs and I will back off.
Regards
Nigel
He even has some diffs and gearboxes, but don't tell anyone, I had a nosey around once when my car was in for a service, He has so many bits and pieces even from the early leyland days, eg, princess, allegro etc
I see he has 2 new front bumpers for the K1 starlight silver and blue buy for £ 105.00
£410 and more than 9 days to go!! :shock:shock
thems mine hands off.......
Now at £460! WTF
That's my mind made up I will be getting the X's cut to suit the saloon. No bid made and won't be bidding.
Steve.
these are flying!
John Wilcox must be rubbing his hands with glee!!
either way, I bet he is smiling!
just how high will these go?
I must admit I thought they could go for £450-500, but to get to this level so soon is a bit bonkers!
At this price could Zero Exhausts not do something similar?
I have not bid yet and if they go much higher I wont lol
All I can say is I'm glad mine were on the car when I bought her
Last time I looked they were up at £520 with nearly 8 days to run how high will these babes go to! :~..got to be a forum member/s on here that's surely bidding if so wonder if they will they reveal themselves after the event :1
Remember when they were going for 200 quid....
ahhh... the good old days. :)
Bet you wish you'd bought some then!!!!!!!
It is quite interesting to look at the bid history. So far there are only 2 bidders, the winning bidder put in the first bid and the other keeps coming back with a slightly higher bid but always being outbid by that 1st bid.
It must have been a stonking first bid!
£600 anyone?
The first bidder really really wants them!:D
Or he made a mistake like I did once. I was bidding on an item and when I put my bid I accidentally added a zero, I wanted to bid £100. Guess if I was scared til the auction was over.:) Fortunatly I won it for a fair price.
cheers
glad they were readily avaliable new when I bought mine nearly 3 years ago!
I can hear John Wilcox chuckling form here, as these continue to rise in price!!
Oooh - price drop!
Was at £560, now at £470! Looks like that original bidder has been removed/withdrawn.
I logged into ebay and got confused, they were at £200- some bid tweakery must have been going on
Glad I have a spare new set plus a new standard set :~
we will need X Power security bolts soon to stop them go walkies as there in such demand:D one day could be worth more than the car :~
Whole thing looks a bit fishey now. First bidder at £565 was exposed by a number of bids by second who was nicely positioned at £560. His bids are still there. Third bidder has only been £460 brave so far leaving bidder 2 at 470 of his total of 560. So £560.01 would take it........
At these prices I might just sell mine!
still time.....
I might buy them and put them away for a few years- better rate of interest than the banks at the moment :D
£611 (inc postage) !!!
Bloody hell!
Don't let your insurance company know you have x-power exhausts as your insurance rate will increase dramaticly.:D
State they were a factory fit option!!
