WHY WHY WHY!!!
Hope you find the bastard so you can stick the spraycan up his a.......!
Chances are this dickhead will want to come back in daylight and see his/her handywork?
Keep a sharp eye out for anyone taking more than a passing glance at it. Then bide your time, remember; Revenge is a dish best served cold....
Dish served cold? I'll bloody serve it with liquid hydrogen. Not a good idea to do it to a cops car either. And hopefully the CCTV on the road will help. It's the cost of repair I'm worried about.
I just dont understand this. You're the 2nd V8 owner to suffer this in recent months. Aholes :fight2
It's not Greenpeace is it?
Wouldn't be supprised if it was green peace lol. But more likely some benefit taking work shy tosser who thinks he's very clever indeed.
Anyway latest update. Car is away as of 17:00 today at Nottingham crash repair centre. The guy who is assessing the car knows exactly what he is dealing with, and is friends with a chap at luffield mg workshop, do I have good confidence. 2 weeks and pony express Will be back. Thanks all for your support guys. :D
Defies belief.
Why would someone do it, i just don't get it.
I feel for you, really do. So glad i keep a lockup for mine.
Saying that, might be worth looking into, mine's only about £40 a month
Hope it gets sorted quickly for you
Chris
Thanx for the words Chris. Unfortunately there are none that are practical or are not just around the corner from the people who probably did the damage in the first place.
Gutted for you Chris
Words fail me - so so sorry to hear this
Bastards!
Bad news buddy hope it's not too expensive.
Ouch that is a blow :( at least it appears to be in good hands now. Total pain in the backside though! Hope you catch the person!!
We think we have narrowed it down to 1 or2 people (if you can call them that) I don't do nitro morse. I do thermite. :fight
hope you manage to sort them properly.
If you think you have narrowed it down... could you say if its just some jelous plank or if it is 'green' related...?
I wish it were green piece. I'd tell the French authorities on them to sink there other oil burning heap of a ship. Lol, but sadly no. It is a guy who has no car but hates the fuzz.
Oh yes I was proper devastated. No tickets. Some other cops cars have been hit. Not as bad as ours but still not good. Seems there might be some out there who don't like the local fuzz eh.
I guess in your job it does carry that kind of risk, how do you go about protecting your identity home location etc. Do you get training guidance etc? If something like this is truly vindictive and job related then if you are able to arrest and prosecute him can you then get any job related compensation?
Well firstly. You would need to report it as a hate crime. But compensation would only be received if there was personal injury. Secondly we would need poof that the culprit had committed the criminal damage and as we all know proof is harder to obtain than the knowledge of it. My wife is the officer I'm just a humble engineer/lorry driver. My wife works very closely with the community and has (for the most part) a very good relationship with jo public. Most people in town know the car unfortunately. The only advise to police on this area realy boils down to arrive in plain clothes.
I'll just have to have a friendly word in his shell like.
Attachment 1743 https://www.two-sixties.co.uk/mgoc26...attach/jpg.gif an example of the damage...and where we are at the moment..sorry had to post another reply..couldn't figure how to add piccies to the last..
Tried not to post Chris as I go ballistic when I hear this sort of thing but needed to offer support and have calmed down now.
It must go through your mind almost every day whats around the corner with the role your wife has. Such a pity society has these mindless dickweeds
I'm going to say it in pictures while my blood boils
:mad::head:fight2:fight:3):3):O):pan
unofficial and without your officer wife knowing our bats are ready :)
As always thank you all for your support. I know we are still foaming at the mouth over this. On the bright side the guy who we think did this works on the Sunday Market in melton. Guess where we are going now? :fight2
Car done as of today. Picking it up on Saturday morning. It has recived a lot of attention at the spray shop from the guys there. May even have a few new members if we are lucky. They love the sound of the thing. Can't wait to hear it again myself.
Again thanks one and all for your sympathy.
Car back. Virtually a complete respray. Looks bloody amazing. Just need to sort out the abs fault and I'm in the clear. Thanks all for the support. I bloody love this forum. :hug
glad this has a happy ending Chris.
I just hope the guilty party gets what he deserves!
Glad you got it back!:)
Hope he doesn't come back tomorrow morning.:fight2
Glad it's all sorted
