Thanks for the welcome guys. The car is making my daily commute to work an absolute joy.
I have returned my questionnaire, just wondering when I get to go green? :P

Alrighty, cheers guys. Going to get it serviced next week hopefully, then it's the hunt for new rubber. It has proxes on it just now which, as Ian said in the original post, are past their best. It will be used as a daily driver so im looking for something with decent wear and grip. Any recommendations or should I stick with the toyos?
Actually I realise there is probably more information on tyres than I could ever need in the full section, so I'll have a look as soon as I am turned green.

Cheers Andy, where's best for pricing? I'm not used to shopping for performance rubber. :P
Tyretraders were coming up cheapest a few months back for me.

But try camskill, black circles etc etc. Get them swapped at the same time as the refurb. save the cost of getting the tyres removed and put back on etc.
Generally, continentals are factory fit but are expensive and make the car hop at slow speeds.
Had Bridgestone Potenzers on the car at one point, they hopped at slow speeds too.
Toyos pretty much all its life with me, never had an issue. Just a bit soft so wear quite quickly....
The problem with tyres, is everycar seems to behave differently. I think I've got Potenzas on the front (althoughit might be Contis!! . Take a look Sean!!) and I haven't had the slow speed hopping issue for ages.
