Thanks Herman that's all I wanted to know!
I know that the set-up is quite different on a V8 and was curious on how it should be set-up properly, as most of this site is off limits to non-owners, it's difficult to learn the little foibles of these cars until you actually own one and then it can be too late!
I apologise to the owner of the car if he thought that I was trying to "diss" his car, nothing could be further from the truth, as I always like to try and learn as much as possible about a vehicle before I make a potential purchase.
However being called a "nob" and a "twat" because I have dared to ask a question, says more about the posters, than the person asking an innocent question! :(
As I said to the seller, good luck with your listing and let's hope the car finds a good home.:)
I am getting on in years and would never dream of using such words as "nob" or "twat" their use is unnecessary and uncalled for especially as there is already a perfectly good word in our language. It is a word the great Arthur Daley ( him of "Minder" fame and the patron saint of car "clockers) would have used
It is, of course "tyrekicker"
Any comment would be superfluous
Dave
And thank you Doodles, you certainly keep us on our toes
Hi.

Chris
