Gents, will try to post some photo's of my set up (Lindens car) if my tech ability will allow, may go some way to helping. Sorry but the finer points of the technical side of the car are a bit lost on me so I will continue to read as I have learned some things from this thread already.
Andrew
Sorry just seen this question, If the Roush ECU you have was going to be fitted to a MG ZT385 it should work fine. However, realistically I`d be very surprised if you have an original MG ZT 385 ECU. You may have one that was going to be fitted to the MG SV-S? Either way Jamie from Jam Sport Racing used my standard ECU and remapped it. (approx £400 to £600 as he did with Re-Treads `Dave` ECU) My Vacuum set up differs from Dave?s and other Roush engines I have seen? Possible because I fitted the S/C to my engine whereas Dave?s fitted a new engine with the S/C already attached.
Hope this helps
PS, Can I ask where you obtained the S/C and bits from?
Regards
That Roush setup looks very neat, how does the Roush the setup compare with the KB, I don't mean from the graphics point of view but has anyone here had the pleasure of driving both types, is it more economical, how do they compare in real time with acceleration torque and engine flexibility, I won't ask which is best because each will favour their own installation.
Why did MG not ask KB to supply the S/C, hope I'am not high-jacking this thread.
Hi,Just like to say thanks for everyones help, the car is now up and running "Roushcharged" Many Thanks Karl
Great news Karl.
Where did you get the map done? Have you got any figures, assuming it was done on the rollers?
Above all are you pleased with the result?
Nice one :-)
Please put some pictures up when you can.
