#323, Additional Information
Additional to this post https://www.two-sixties.co.uk/mgoc26...386#post181386 some more information:
#323 has just been serviced at Austin Garages, and passed its MOT earlier this week. It had new front shocks last year, a complete underbody treatment from PCM in Cheltenham in 2015, four new tyres in June last year, and has been garaged for most of the 11 years I have had it. I am really sad to be selling it but I am soon to start a new job which involves a lot of miles, and it makes no sense to put so many miles on it when so far it has so few. Please PM me if you would like more information.

Imported into Holland from Belgium in late 2010. Garaged since Autumn 2015.
The vehicle is being sold "for a client". The salesman says the client is thinking about Euro 19,000. Sounded unconvincing (/unconvinced).
The car has had right rear corner damage, clearly visible from within the boot, sufficient to break the rear window glass, which has been replaced. The damage has been repaired to a reasonable standard as far as that can be judged by eye. The whole car has been re-sprayed (why ?) Viewed in the showroom, not a bad spray job, say, 8/10. Salesman offered his opinion that it didn't look too brilliant in the sunlight!
Heavy leakage from differential (front oil seal?).
Ill-fitting LH exhaust back-box and rear bumper.
The car was not driven (disconnected battery).
On the plus side, little or no rust formation on struts, rear shocks, sub-frame, springs etc. Tidy interior, wheels. No unusual wear/scoring on front or rear brake-disks.

It is Firefrost red, and was the only ZT-T 260 ever imported in France by the French subsidiary (and for that matter, one that was never sold to an end-customer). Was used as press/demo car and registered to MGR France. It's the car that was heavily pictured, alongside a Starlight silver saloon, in the French MGR press kit for the 260s (pictures are available here in the gallery). Suffered an engine failure at 12,000 kms when being demoed, the driver shifted from 5th to 3rd while driving on the subway. Has brand new engine/transmission fitted afterwards. Was sold to a former MGR France director when MGR collapsed, who sold it a year later to the current owner, a friend of his.
Bodywork is not perfect, on the rear tailgate for instance which has a bit of damage to the lower, bumper area finisher. The gear gaiter is also weird-looking as it doesn't look anything like what it should. I suspect it got broken up when they did the engine/transmission change and created one of their own out of plywood as they couldn't source an original one.
The satnav drive suffered from water leaks and has been removed. I guess all Tourers do, mine has identical leaks...
