Don't panic, I'm not leaving the fold, but I fancy a MKII.
It's an SE with HK and HiLine.
Brief history, I'm the 4th registered keeper, has a genuine 30,000 miles on the clock.
Service history is almost complete, but I gave it a full service from stem to stern earlier this year which is all doccumented. It had new front pads and discs before I bought it, and I've changed the rear pads as well.
In starlight silver and 11 spoke wheels with heated grey alcantara.
I've also added an electric rear blind.
It is a Cat C, but from the digging I've done and going over the car, I believe that it was due to the availability of parts rather then the extent of the damage. It has passed a VIC as well as an MOT since the repair (which was done before I bought it)
Other then that, it's a very clean standard car as it came from the factory.
£5750 ono..Pictures are in the link below.

Doesn't he want a left hand drive if he is going to use it in Switzerland?
having driven 5000+ miles in Europe in a right hand drive MG since April I conclude that it is no big deal sitting on the right instead of the left of the car

There are usually some LHD 260s advertised on Mobile.de, the big German used car site. Prices are definitely much higher than in the UK, but are coming down just now. Personally, I wouldn' t want to drive a RHD car regularly on the Continent, although it does depend on what sort of driving you do. Parking barriers can be very inconvenient and it's definitely more dangerous when you overtake on country roads. I would also recommend checking with your insurer, as many companies will increase the premium for a RHD car.
Julian.
But it's much safer stepping out of the car,:)
My father has a Triumph Stag RHD and I have no problems driving it, overtaking is no big difference other then keeping a longerr distance to the car to be overtaken, that way you can see pretty far for oncoming traffic. It's just a matter of planning your overtakings.:)
