I have an MG ZTT V8 260. I have an ongoing problem with water getting into rear passenger side footwell when car is parked. Has anyone experienced this? If so, do you have any suggestions to cure this problem.
Many thanks,
Bob Smart

Hi Bob,
If you send your questionnaire back to Tim and become a full member all of this information will be available to you.
Whereabouts are you located, what are the last three digits of your VIN? Any photos?
Sounds like it could be the side trim clips leaking in water but could be running from somewhere else such as tailgate glass, rear light cluster seals, shark fin antennae.
Lots to read when you get full membership:)

I'd be looking at the side clip as Nich mentioned, also think you may have water on the rear around the wheel arch area. Just in case have a look under the car to make sure the floor plugs are in place.

If not the sunroof drain in that corner (very easy to check at the rear), then remove the rear light seal and check to see if it has split (this is my guess). If not that, probably water ingress from the rear window.
Good luck,
Ian
Rear light seal not a problem on tourer as completely different to saloon.
Ah ha, I didn't spot that!
BUT, I'm now eager to hear the result as I recently bought a Rover 75 estate and I think that there is a leak somewhere in the rear!
Cheers,
Ian
Many thanks Nich, I will get the details to you.
