61 31 6 908 787 double pole black switch
61 31 8 372 646 single pole white switch
Don't buy a new one. If it works when you lift the clutch pedal, it just means that the switch has been knocked slightly too far away from the pedal. I'm hoping someone will be along with directions to a 'how to' as I'm just off...
thanks for info, i will have a further look
It's right at the top of the clutch pedal. IIRC, you lie flat on your back with your legs in the air, depress the clutch, find the switch, which I believe is oblong shaped and push it towards the back of the car. I think it's on a little ratchetty mechanism. When you've managed to move it out, let the clutch pedal return to its normal position slowly.
Took me ages to find the switch, but seconds to fix once I'd located it. I guess this is most likely to happen if your foot slips off the clutch (for whatever reason)
