Just sayin g'day
Hi There folks,
Just thought I would poke my head in and say hello. I am the proud new owner of an Australian delivered 260SE MkII (No.625) (and subsequently new Two Sixties member). It is XPower Grey, the interior is immaculate and the externals appear to have been well looked after.
Before I bought it I spoke to another member in the MG Club here and he showed me some of the things time has proven to be inadequate, such as the orange clip on the fuel filter, the heater hose and the thingy behind the firewall on the passenger side (tucked away under the plastic covers). Well the one I bought has had none of that done. I bought it from an older couple who just loved to drive it and in their mind if it was going, why fix it. So...any advice, or things to watch out for will be well recieved and greatly appreciated.

Welcome along, congratulations on your new purchase and don't forget to go green (by returning the Questionnaire to Tim)! :)
PS Don't worry about the Olympics too much! :)

Canberra is my current home. We have not long moved back from Alice Springs were I was posted for 3 years. It is good to be back in civilisation. It would have been nice to have the 260 in Alice as the speed limit is...well.. arbitrary at best.

Photos will be forthcoming. I'm new to blogs and such and still figuring out what to do and how to do it.

Yep, welcome aboard :) I'm guessing cars with none of the mods are few and far between now.

Hi Tim,
How do I get hold of the questionnaire mentioned above ?
