Reduced, Reduced, Reduced!

Dont know how to update the heading.

41,300 miles, bog standard other than gas but that allows you to use it as it`s meant to be used.

New rubber all round, T & T 5/12 & 3/12 and every piece of paper ever issued to the car is in a file. It`s tracked, got SAT Nav and that telly doesn`t work, the air con works, the CD changer works, got FSH and it has a most important addition - a spare on a straight! Wouldn`t dare go anywhere without one (it lives behind the front passenger seat).

I`d say the bodywork is as good as the day it left the showroom, no bangs, scratches or pain and the all leather interior is as perfect too.

So, for a guzzler that returns the equivalent of up to 55 mpg on lpg @ .70p per litre (that`s 27.5 mpg in the unleaded world) I`m asking £7,000 (yes, i`ve reduced it!). At .70 p per litre you can afford to use it and listen to that v8 burble. At .70p per litre you can put your foot down leaving those roundabouts and lose yourself in the noise and know the car`s not going to bankrupt you. It`s been a Sunday and sunny day car for me which`s kept the mileage down just for you.

It`s up for sale `cos I`ve had it well over a year and I want something else. Simple as that. I may consider yours if it`s interesting/different. I fly giant scale model aircraft and would consider one in a deal or if really pushed, I might think about your labrador :)

Cheers.

An example of a limitation of this forum.
Stew has posted images of the car he wants to sell but we non-owners, his potential customers, are not allowed to view those images.
Ho hum.
Stew, you have a PM.

There was someone on here looking for a low mileage LPG car - cant remember who, will try and find that thread. Seem to remember they wanted black or a dark colour though, but it doesnt pay to be too fussy now does it?!

Folks,

I`m very impressed and pleased with the interest and assistance people are giving me. It`s obviously assisting me in the sale and similarly assisting those who are wanting to buy one of these wonderful cars and that`s exactly what i feel a club should be about. It`s almost making me want to keep it and stay with a real club lol lol lol.

A BIG thank you,

Stew.

I think it was me actually.- looking for Black or XPG or BRG...........if this is the same Light blue (Mirage?) one that was on P/H a couple of weeks ago, (can't see any pics AndyG) it is lovely and I'm sorely tempted, but when I buy one, it will be forever, so got to be the right colour, (unless the price is too low to resist of course!)

Hey Andy,

Lol, that "beautiful pearl shimmering" could be one of two things, either the car is stunning or I`m a brilliant, super, skilled, brilliant, imaginative, artistic, technically aware, brilliant and brilliant photographer able to use light, colour, shape and form and of course brilliance to produce that pic.

It really is as you describe mate and without a mark on it.

Hi Colin,

There`s no flesh on it, it`s a car. But, those compound curves and colour and the noise and the sense of security you feel when driving one does take you to another place where thoughts tend to wander off...... lol

Hi Mean Green,

No it isn`t that one but it is Mirage. Mine`s never been on here whilst I`ve had it but I`m the second owner so maybe before I had it......

Hi Stew B

I think you've misunderstood me - P/H (Pistonheads) are running an ad for the same car

The pics on here are even better though.....oh no, I'm weakening again ;)

Ah yes. That`s mine too, I`ve only one to sell though. I posted another comment on here re that ad and the problems PH had so I`ll give a brief comment here too.

I had the car on PH for a couple of months and had only one response. I reduced the price and updated a few things then went on nearly a month later to see PH had actually put the price BACK UP altering the ad without my permission. I`ve emailed PH who were initially very apologetic, accepting they had a problem then when I wanted to speak further they`re unresponsive so be very careful of that site. You can guess where I`m thinking of going with this.

Anyway, I`m glad you`re weakening.

Cheers.

To be fair to PH, they are trying to introduce an advanced classifieds section, that has many more filter options. The trial didnt go well and they had to refer to old data to get the site back up and running with the 'old' system.

As fair as I know, they are working further on the new classifieds section before releasing it again into the wild, hopefully doing a bit more testing this time, but sometimes it is had to test with volumes running.

It is free though, me thinks and as Autotrader very rarely works for me now, their site is appalling, I think PH have realised with an advance classifieds they can start to impact Autotrader and then start making money at it

Hi Coasting,

Your comments are noted and reflect what PH have said to me but that`s missing a very important point.

The bottom line is that

1 I paid in advance for a service
2 PH altered data in my advert without authority
3 Possibly as a result my car did not sell on that site

Whilst I am as reasonable as anyone I`m furious that this has happened and more so that PH will not answer my questions.

I hope that the future re-development of PH will not cause a problem for others.

Sorry didnt realise it was a pay for service, thought it was free!

I keep my mouth shut now :)
