Feel it's time to move on to something new. I've had this car just over 18 months, which is a personal best for me! :)

nice motor but not a good time to be selling, particularly a ragtop

This is true.... I really fancy a bit of a retro classic though: something like a Ford Capri.

very nice TF Steve, one of my favourite colours. If it had aircon, I might of been interested

 Why do you need aircon in a soft top (asked the man with air con in his soft top)? Put the roof down man and get on with it!

For some strange reason, I'm really hankering after cars I used to love as a child (even if they were truly awful!)
Nostalgia is even driving me to look at Montego's for God's sake!
I remember my Dad having for a very short while, a late 80's 3.0 litre Toyota Supra in white (with pop-up lights) Scanning them at the moment too!

I'm hoping this is a passing fad..... :o)

If the TF doesn't sell, I'm not overly worried, it's a great little car and I've enjoyed owning it. I never really got the whole 'soft-top' thing before owning it - especially in this country where we get an average 0.789 hours of sunshine a week. However, even if it's cold, overcast and windy, I'm one of those idiots that's still happy to take the roof down and buzz about in it!

but how kind / unkind to paintwork is that method?

I'll stick to my using the aircon method, which works really well with the ZS

If you can, put a small de-humidifier in the car, it will both remove any trace of water (no water, no ice;)) and it also warms the interior of the car up.

Time to refresh this! Bad news is - someone drove past and knocked the drivers side wing-mirror off. Good news is I've lowered the price to £3,750
