Looking for a second car to use during the winter but also all round for the family and stuff. Milage not really a concern as long as it's not a complete shed, upto about £1500 for the right car. As long as it has Air con, and a fairly long MOT that's all that matters.

If anyone knows of one somewhere can they let me know please?

Many thanks!

Stu

Seems it's my luck as usual then! Found a nice pair of Saab 9-3 hatchbacks might be interested in going for :D

I would have said a 75 CDT but like one of my ex girlfriends who worked as new bands manager for EMI in the early 80's - real crackers can be a bit high rent!
Mind you she had a Lotus Sunbeam as a company car and a flat in Victoria so if wasn't all expensive nights out.

personally I would say a pug or Citroen hdi as long as the belts are changed the engines go on forever, my mate bob has a 405 with 260,000 miles on it and he still tows his caravan with it.

Maf has probably gone very easy diagnosis and fix but an auto so high tax rate and poor mpg on short runs.

If its for the whole family I would highly recommend a ZT/75 cdt or i. Put the ron box on and it is well up for driving.

Thanks for the replies guys, but managed to find a nice little Rover 25 diesel with air con and 58,000 miles for £1400 with 12 months ticket to boot. He has to fix couple of jobs as when i obviosuly tested everything, the resistor had gone on the blowers and a/c didn't come on. But fingers crossed will be ready on Sat to collect :)

Good stuff, few bits like rear mg spoiler and you are away. ;). I drive my wifes R25 around and its fun to drive. Did need to put sound insulation on the undeside of the bonnet though
