Hi there from Germany,

currently I have two 75s and one ZT, but no V8. That is why I registered here.
Not long ago there was a ZT-T400 at pistonheads, but already sold. :(

What I am looking for is eighter a V8 Tourer with LPG,
or still better a V8 with the Dreadnought compressor conversation.

Milage, color, all that stuff is not that much important, just the V8-thing ;)

Please let me know if there is something suitable for sale, it is not urgent.
Hopefully until next spring there will be an offer.

Cheers, Tom

Hi Tom

Welcome

Keep an eye on the For Sale section on here - we try to ensure all those we come across on our travels and those members are selling themselves are listed here

Cheers

Colin

Hi there,

thanks for reply and offers.

@Jules: Your ZT-T looks really nice. Unfortunally it has no LPG or better the compressor. Thats the special extra what I am looking for.

@Colin: I will have a look in the offers section as often as I will be here :)

@Colintf: I'm from Erlangen, near Nuremberg.
Your ZT interieur looks very similar to my 2nd 75: 2106

@All: The thing is that the compressor convertion is the most valueable thing to me. I have family and not so much time to drive to scottland and do the convertion there. All the other things I can do on my own (exterieur, interieur...).

So it does not matter if it is a saloon or tourer, but if I had the choice (haha), I'd take the tourer. I know it is seldom and things even get worse to find one with compressor convertion already done, but I'll try. Recenty there was a ZT-T400 in trophy blue at pistonheads, for incredible low 6500 GBP. But I don't expect that price.

There is no hurry, so the search continues :D

that interior looks very nice. Not seen the Blue Monogram dash fitted to a 75 before

Thanks very much! :)
Unfortunally the most germans don't like monogram, so nowhere to buy and thats why I did it myself.
Before there were ash-grey velour seats, now alcantara from a RHD MG ZT.

Here is one, but I don't like the colour for that price:

So the search continues ;)

Peters old car is for sale, a silver Rover 75 V8. Peter passed away recently and Matthew his son has put it on the market. I can pass on the contact details but think its advertised in the for sale section as well.

Hi Tim,

thanks for your note. But silver is a "no go" color for me, too brave ;)

I thought over and would prefer a charged ZT or ZT-T.

I sold my ZT190 recently, so a new ZT is now more than welcome

Meanwhile the wanted specifications became more clear:

I would prefer the Mk2, black leather (no alcantara), cruise and traction control, mileage less than 65k.

This one would have been really nice:

Of course it is not charged, but a charger costs 3k GBP + fitting, so I think that would be another possible way, instead of looking for a real rare charged one.

Hopefully there will be something until next spring

Seller is a member here. Issue I can see is the respray of the blodges with Typhoon paint. Could turn out expensive as it probably requires the complete affected panels to be done and it's a difficult colour to blend in/get right (as are the other chromactive ones)

BTW. I would have saved the money on a Testbook and put it towards a car.:)

for that sort of money (depending upon what Tony's reserve is) I could live with the blotyches and wouldn't bother with a respray on affected panels

Tonys reserve was about 4k I guess, which is really not much in comparison to this:

Afaik prefacelifts are prefered in UK, is built quality the only reason as people say in Germany?
