In the end sold it back to Mini - sister realistically wanted 9k - but got £8.5 from Mini. However it needed first MOT, Tax and re-insuring on the 1st Sept so not too bad all in all and the damned thing out of my way now

Hmmm, OK I guess. I can't get my head around second hand values at the mo'. Neighbour just about to sell a '55 Megane for £1750 and then it dropped a valve. He sold it (gave it away) for £350!. If I had the room, I'd break cars for spares. That would probably include my own, when the time comes...
